Swingrowers

Style: Electro Swing, Vintage Pop

Swingrowers are an acclaimed four-piece electro-swing and vintage-pop band from Palermo, Sicily, signed to the British label Freshly Squeezed Music. Formed in 2011 by producer Roberto Costa and singer-songwriter Loredana Grimaudo, the group has become one of the most enduring acts in the global retro-electronic scene, accumulating over 100 million streams worldwide. Their signature sound seamlessly blends the fresh energy of modern dance music with the nostalgic, warm influences of 1920s and 30s swing.

Over the last decade, the band has continually evolved their studio sound. They debuted in 2012 with Pronounced Swing Grow’ers, utilizing vintage samples and gypsy jazz, before expanding into live instrumentation on 2014’s Remote. A major artistic turning point came with OutsideIn (2018) and Hybrid(2021), where they transitioned into entirely original, sample-free compositions that paired sharp electronica with contemporary pop production.

Renowned for their explosive live shows, Swingrowers have established a massive global touring footprint. They have performed at major international festivals like Boomtown, twice sold out the legendary Blue Note in Tokyo, and toured extensively across North America, Europe, and Asia alongside genre pioneers like Caravan Palace and Parov Stelar.
