The record seamlessly blends soul, jazz, and folk with her Caribbean heritage, centering around her virtuosic use of the cello as both a rhythmic and emotional anchor. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Ayanna has composed for the London Symphony Orchestra and toured with legends like Peter Gabriel and Anoushka Shankar.
