The creaking sound of old school vinyl is not enough for the eccentric band “Sweet Life Society”; the talented group that mix contemporary tunes with old school “Cotton Club”, re-styling the “Swing Music Culture” into a mix of electronic sounds, while also adding the performance of live instruments from the best “Torinese” Jazz scene.
Founded in 2008 in Turin by producers Gabriele Concas and Matteo Marini, The Sweet Life Society is renowned for its captivating, high-energy live show featuring nine musicians on stage.
With over a decade of international touring, the band has performed at prestigious festivals and clubs worldwide, including Glastonbury, Eurosonic, Bestival, Lowlands, Paradiso Amsterdam, and Village Underground London.
Their unique sound is a sophisticated blend of vintage melodies, Caribbean vibes, US hip hop, and powerful UK bass music. This fusion is brought to life by a potent brass band, electric bass, guitar, and the dynamic vocals of MCs Giulietta Passera and Moreno Turi (aka Emenél).
