Bureau 45 is proud to welcome the exceptional saxophonist Susanne Alt to our international roster. We are thrilled to represent this world-class artist as she prepares for the release of her seventh studio album, „Dark Horse“, arriving on January 30, 2026.

Recorded in the heart of New York City, Dark Horse captures the raw, spontaneous chemistry of an elite ensemble. While her previous work was a celebrated tribute to Roy Hargrove, this new release focuses on „the moment“—blending Soul, Funk, and Latin elements with a gritty, elastic NYC pulse. It is a testament to Alt’s artistry: melodic, rhythmically compelling, and always in a vivid dialogue with her American bandmates.

A World-Class Performance Lineup:
The album features a powerhouse rhythm section consisting of musicians who served as the backbone of Roy Hargrove’s band for seven years, bringing an unmatched level of groove and synergy to the stage:

Smoove is a versatile and enduring figure in UK funk, soul, and dance music with a career spanning over three decades as a producer, DJ, label boss, remixer, and performer. Known as the creative force behind Smoove & Turrell, he has released eight studio albums, including the 2020 chart-topper  Stratos Bleu and the 2023 release Red Ellen. Smoove has also launched two independent imprints, Wack Records and Multitrack Reworks, the latter dedicated to crafting limited-edition reworks of legendary artists‘ multitrack stems.  

Georgia Cécile (UK)

We are very proud to announce that we are now representing the exceptional British artist Georgia Cécile in the German-speaking market. In close cooperation with Avalanche Agency (UK), we are bringing you an artist who is currently setting international standards and was honored in 2022 with the industry’s most prestigious awards – the Jazz FM Award for „UK Jazz Act of the Year“ and „Vocalist of the Year.“

Her performance combines the timeless grandeur of legends like Nina Simone or Ella Fitzgerald with a modern, cinematic sound aesthetic. Georgia Cécile guarantees an exclusive, world-class live experience, as proven by her impressive list of references: she has toured with global star Gregory Porter, performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra, and is celebrated by icons such as Jamie Cullum and Jools Holland as one of the most important voices of her generation.

Together with her musical partner, pianist Euan Stevenson, she creates an atmosphere of the highest musical enjoyment. Her professionalism and sophistication are perfectly balanced between sophisticated jazz, soul, and the pop nuances of the 60s and 70s. From iconic locations like Ronnie Scott’s to the Blue Note Milan – Georgia Cécile inspires audiences worldwide.

Georgia is available as a trio, quartet, or quintet.

The release of her new album is planned for September 2026, with several single releases starting in February 2026.

Bass Monkeys (Live) – When club sound meets traditional brass music

Bass Monkeys is an eleven-member music project where electronic bass music meets Mediterranean brass traditions.

The band unites two giants of the Italian music scene: The Sweet Life Society, an internationally acclaimed electro-swing collective known for their blend of vintage, hip-hop, Caribbean rhythms, and British bass music, and Ottoni Animati, an energetic brass band from Sicily.

Bass Monkeys represents energy, cultural roots, and the unifying power of music.
