Making history as one of the pioneers of Westcoast underground hip-hop and funk in the 80ies, he’s now working on the future of dance! As a producer of much-noticed collaborations with Afrika Bambaataa and The Mighty Mocambos, he hit the Juno Hip-hop- and R’nB charts for weeks in 2012. 2013 already saw the release of a collaboration with Basement Freaks, and more are yet to come.

But that’s not enough for Charlie Funk!

As a highly-requested DJ he also spreads the spirit of dance and fun far beyond the limits of hip-hop and funk. A true music enthusiast, he delights his audiences with breathtaking sets that range from electro, funk, house, and rap to breakbeat, disco, rock’n’roll, dubstep, and reggae.
