Move on up: bureau45 has a new office

We are looking forward to an exiting new year with great challenges, lots of interesting artists, and great shows and festivals. Now we made the next step and moved to new office rooms in Frankfurt’s east end, where many artists and designers live and work, an urban gardening project shows people how green the city can be, the ECB (well…) does whatever they do, and – not least – our favourite Greek restaurant takes care we never run out of gyros, fries and Retsina. So here’s the new address as of now:

Grüne Str. 23
60316 Frankfurt

Phone +49 (0)69 66 16 28 10

And of course you can contact us via e-mail at or mobile phone +49 160 97 333 889.

New and Nice!

We’re happy to welcome two new outstanding DJs to the bureau45 artist roster, DJ Angelo and Mr. Nice Guy!

DJ Angelo is a genuine turntable master and passionate entertainer. He played some of the most important venues and festivals worldwide side by side with artists like Skrillex, Diplo, Public Enemy or Krafty Kuts, to name but a few. Rooted in Hip-hop, House, Funk and R’n’B, his “Feel Good Fusion” blend of urban, funky bass sounds is dedicated to make his global audience happy – and dance. Find out more here.

Mr. Nice Guy knows how to stand out of the crowd – but also when to step back and let the audience take the centre stage. Whether as a Red Bull Most Wanted DJ or regular tour companion of Martin Jondo, Mr. Nice Guy played festivals such as Summer Jam or Ruhr Reggae Days. But don’t expect him to just play around with Reggae sounds or Hip-hop charts: he’s more likely to serve fresh mash ups and unheard remixes that meet with unseen joy behind the turntables. Get it up for love: DJ Supermarkt joins the bureau45 roster

DJ Supermarkt_620x350

Imagine a relaxed and warm Saturday in the park, or having a sizzling Manhattan at the deck of a yacht and you’ll get that “Too slow to disco” feeling that DJ Supermarkt captured so perfectly in his highly successful compilation.

In spite of the title, the soft westcoast-yacht-electro-disco-pop-rock sound of DJ Supermarkt fits perfectly into clubs: his main goal is making the audience happy and he’s always looking for new sounds to make people smile and dance. Which he did in clubs and festivals such as Monarch (Berlin), Melt, or Benicassim – with audiences up to 35,000 people.

“Too Slow to Disco” Vol. 2 has just been released – and we’re very happy to welcome DJ Supermarkt at bureau45. Please contact us for further information and availability.

More information and music at the bureau45 artist roster and DJ Supermarkt’s  “How do you are?” blog.

Hello – again!

We are happy to introduce some new artists to our roster – and to welcome some old friends back! Cheers to Smokey Joe & The Kid, The Sweet Life Society, Basement Freaks, and Funkanomics!

Smokey Joe & The Kid
The sound of these guys takes us from 1920’s Swing to today’s Hip Hop and Electro. Percussion solos played with scratches, beats and melodies banged out on the MPC – everything is performed live. Together with VJ Miss Chemar, they deliver a unique, dynamic A/V Show!

The Sweet Life Society
The creaking sound of old school vinyl is not enough for the eccentric band “Sweet Life Society”; the talented group that mix contemporary tunes with old school “Cotton Club”, re-styling the “Swing Music Culture” into a mix of electronic sounds, while also adding the performance of live instruments from the best “Torinese” Jazz scene.

Basement Freaks
Basement Freaks is the brainchild of George Fotiadis, a major force in the scene for well over ten years. After more than 14 successful vinyl releases, 2 full albums, over 15 remixes and countless digital EPs, George has been called “The hardest working man in Funk”. His music has been praised by MixMag,iDJ Mag and even the Godfather of Nu-Skool Breaks – Rennie Pilgrem. In fact, every respectable funk DJ on the planet includes a Basement Freaks tune in their set.

Funkanomics (Ghetto Funk)
4 turntables and that phenomenal funky-sexy-party sound perfectly designed for the dance floor: that’s Funkanomics!
Juwee, Fx Farmer and Bobby Kudlicz from southern Germany formed the team in 2006 and toured clubs and festivals worldwide ever since. Beautiful crunchy bass lines funked up with pumping grooves: listen to it once and you won’t get it out of your head. And feet…

We look forward to great shows with those guys!
